The ambience was amazing, pretty central. The food looked authentic but was pretty bland. Udon was bit on the chewy side.<br><br>Vegetarian options: The tempura is alright. Hot udon with tofu wasn't that great and cold udon with hot mushroom broth was alright. I found it bland but I guess it's authentic
The veggie and shrimp hot noodles options were delicious. Not too salty like most places. For the veggie one, you could build your preferred flavour as the sesami paste with walnuts is on the side. On a Friday evening it was quite full so book in advance. Prices are fair for the portions.
Positives: amazing food, varied menu, clean toilet, central location.<br><br>Negatives: the small plates are too expensive for what they are. They also add 13.5% service charge, which is a bit more than usual, I don't see why.
