I had a lovely meal lunch here today with my friend. The food was very tasty. I would like to thank our waiter - Sam N for being friendly and attentive. He is a credit to you ?. A 4 star only as the building is a little tired and seemed quiet for Saturday lunch time.
Family of 5 had to wait over an hour before we got our food. When it did arrive, some of it was past its best as it had been waiting at the pass for some time. Service was poor and slow. We were tucked right out of the way so no one checked on us unless they were serving someone else. Would have been disappointed if I had to pay full whack but luckily I had a discount code.
Tasty but very very stingy with the meat with a couple of the roasts...tiny bit of lamb was gristly and the beef was two small strips which was odd. Also no chicken available..(chips were nice though).Had a voucher for money off or would have been very peeved if had to pay full wack!!!
