Sunday lunch was great, the beef was excellent. The place was crowded and the table was 20 minutes late, but no problem. Service was good, efficient and friendly. We read some poor reviews but we couldn't fault our experience.
A birthday celebration Sunday lunch was just the best. Delicious food and very good service from all staff. A busy and popular venue but nothing was too much trouble. Dessert was a birthday cake I’d made. “No problem at all…..would you like a jug of cream with it ?”( No charge was added to the bill)
WE'VE HAD A FEW MEALS AT PUNCHBOWL IN THE EVENING ALL HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT INCLUDING SERVICE.<br>WE WENT FOR A SUNDAY LUNCH WITH THE FAMILY. STAFF FRIENDLY BUT SERVICE VERY SLOW AND DID'NT GET OUR ORDER RIGHT. ON THIS OCCASION THE FOOD WAS NOT THE USUAL STANDARD. THEY DID RECTIFY WITH THE BILL. ALL OUR FUTURE MEALS WILL BE IN THE EVENING.
