Popped in for lunch after a client meeting and a great experience. Innovative tapas dishes cooked over fire, the stuffed chicken thighs had an amazing texture and smoky flavour but the standout dish was the house speciality Octopus with black ink aioli - delicious and incredibly meaty. They had some amazing steaks on the specials board that I look forward to trying on my next visit.
The food was really good, authentic and pretty inexpensive. However we did have a table of four next to us who without a doubt had too much vino, which did ruin the atmosphere. We will definitely come back!
Is the owner called Susan Perb? Sue for short.<br><br>Simplicity and complexity in one menu, both done fantastically. Basque cheese cake wass genuinely unbelievable. The ability to elevate simple ingredients like the humble green bean to such high levels is borderline artistical.<br><br>Will be back.
