Down from Scotland visiting family and we went for a meal (My Birthday) at the Bird in Hand. Lovely meal and very efficient staff . They know how to treat their customers. Recommend the fish and chips .
Visited with son and fiancee to find out booked wrong pub!- all restaurant tables taken but Alex made a great effort to get us seated in bar. This was followed by highly efficient service and our meals were excellent. Alex even came back to offer tomatoes with fish because Chloe had not had the chorizo - above and beyond. Cannot fault, a must return, great. Thanks to all.
