Bronte Steakhouse & Grill

We haven't been to the Bronte Steakhouse in many years so we're delighted when we got invited last night. It wasn't overly busy but it was a Thursday night. We had a table for 7 people, all seated quickly by friendly staff. Just missed their special priced menu that ended at 6:45pm but will definitely be back to try it as it was great value. Went for a family meal. The food was OK, but the service was excellent.<br><br>Might be because it was a Sunday, but the style of the food and quality of the cooking was something you could make at home.<br><br>I wouldn't NOT recommend the place, but the place is a bit out of the way for an average meal.

We had to pick off a Sunday menu only so we both chose the burger option. The burger was tough as a shoe sole. Not a normal beef patty. Really thick and dense. The taste was good but it wasn't prepared properly. For somewhere that is called a steak house, they couldn't really get a simple burger patty right. I would return but definitely not picking the burger option again!
