we went in pre match, the food was good, the food arrived quickly the waitress was lovely but the manageress is so miserable and rude. One of our party can only eat soft food with a limited matchday menu they opted for the ribs with gravy and mash. Oh dear. This house used to be a reliable source of real cider. Today, there were 5 cider handpumps, which looked great from a distance. However it turned out that 4 were mere fruit- flavoured concoctions, and the only actual cider was Gwent Y Draig's 'Black Dragon', which is widely available in Wetherspoons so not much of a 'find'. Had a lovely midweek meal in there Steak night a nice place and good food an service to break up the working week. Will do it again. Another night just had spare ribs Thursday the ribs were solid meat (not fatty) and large portions we took a Tupperware of ribs home because one portion of ribs is enough for 2. The food and service is top drawer.?
