Dietary restrictions: 4 of us rocked up at fairly short notice, after a day’s walking on the Borders Abbey Way … one vegetarian, one gluten intolerant, the other two open to anything. 3 of us went for the veggie tagine… it was superb, freshly cooked from scratch. Absolutely divine! Had dinner for two & took our v well behaved dog. The owners have created a really lovely atmosphere. Professional but very welcoming, smart interior design but relaxed. The food is exquisite really top notch. I had the duck and it was perfectly cooked. Found ourselves eating slowly to savour it. Very well priced and fairly priced wine. Absolutely recommend. Suggest you book, rightly it was full. Hosts, Mum & daughter are just a delight to chat to.

Best lunch ever. The seafood risotto was exquisite and the owners are always very friendly. If you make a request for a certain dish when booking, they will do their best to accommodate you.
