I had dinner with friends on Friday evening at the Swan and the food was delicious. We had a selection of starters and I had the ox cheeck pie for my main. The staff were so friendly and nothing was ever too much of an ask. Would highly recommend anyone in the area visiting.

It's the food that is the disappointment here. I don't blame the chefs cooking it. Probably more the executive chef, the accountant and the management. This is a pub and you come for pub style portioning. At the same time, it's run / owned by the Thyme Hotel, so you expect a good level of presentation.<br><br>The food we received though was extremely average on both fronts.
