Lovely venue and roast carvery fresh and delicious and good value options for lunch. I always rate a good roast on the potatoes and these did not taste re heated.<br>Pizzas were great too with proper dough.<br>Nice friendly atmosphere with all sorts of activities and events happening

VERY friendly staff.<br>Food was good and cask ale great.<br>Pleasant historical pub with a large beer garden adjacent to the canal.<br>Smaller covered outdoor area for rainy days.

Went for first time in a long time for a family day.... Waited for a while at bar for drinks. Not exactly apologetic about the wait. Orders food to return one meal as was cold. The rest of food was not cold but not exactly warm but we didn't wanna make a fuss. The portion sizes for money wouldn't say was value. If the food was warmer and staff a bit more helpful it would have been a very good meal but unfortunately was nice but don't think would go again sorry guys
