The Poet at Matfield

I came here for an anniversary meal and it didn't disappoint. Don't let the exterior pub-like look fool you. On the inside, it's a fine dining experience. Incredible food and service. The only reason it gets 3 stars for the atmosphere is because we went on a Monday which was very quiet. Will definitely be back for the tasting night which sounded excellent.

Afternoon tea celebration. Everything about The Poet induced a pleasure rage. Every single food item, from the entrees all the way down to the whipped yoghurt served for the bread, was incredible. This is the kind of cuisine I expect it a high-end restaurant in London, Paris or New York. Easily some of the best food I've had in all my travels.
