There's nothing unique about John Dory's - it's decent food, it's relatively pricey and there's nothing that sets it apart that makes you want to call it your favourite chippy. The service is standard, nothing to shout home about. It's functional, the food is good, but like with any chain it seems to just follow a formulaic practice without trying to hard to impress
john dorys behind nickols fuil garrage before roundabout just had curry and chips lots of chicken and sause your ladies serving were very polite very curtious nice to see some have good manners definetly use again they are a credit to john doors and this is from an ould lad of 70
Holywood Road branch 08/08/22 1925. Ordered a cod supper and chicken goujons and chips. Got home and noticed I was short the chips for the goujons. Returned 25 minutes later and told I had to prove that I had ordered chips with the goujons. I said I had paid cash and put my receipt no 117 in the bin after collecting my meal. The manager if that's who it was insisted I sift through their bin to retrieve my receipt and order which I duly did after asking him for some gloves...read full review
