I went there for a lovely pint and a steak & ale pie. It was lovely and very tasty but there was something missing. The gravy is heavenly and the hand-cooked chips were also very nice but the pie was really small in my opinion. But the whole staff was very kind.
Listen I was here at 8pm on a Tuesday night so let's not get too critical.<br>The barman was a proper barman, chatty, and didn't faf he just asked "same again?" I like that. The Guinness was solid 8/10.<br>I'm sure this place gets much much better in the sun and on weekends! I'll definitely be back to see!
Beautiful food, steak cooked to perfection! Good value for money, staff very helpful and friendly - Monday night steak night, 241 definitely worth a trip! Quaint location cannot fault anything, thank you @The Victory ?
