We had the most wonderful meal on Sunday with our extended family and friends (around 20 of us) after my sister’s wedding the day before. As always, the food was spectacular and the service the same. Super friendly staff and very informative too when we were asking about the history of the building. Our new favourite spot having recently moved to the local area. Consistently excellent food, great wine list, plus fabulous service from Helen & team.<br><br>It's the ideal traditional village pub & certainly one of the best in Essex!

Really lovely restaurant, perfect for couples or groups. Food was absolutely delicious. Cheese board with choice of cheeses and homemade crackers was sensational. Great vegetarian menu as well. Lovely service and garden area is very romantic.
