Melissa Restaurant(Edgware)

It was the long awaited opening of the new Mellissa restaurant today and it did not disappoint. The restaurant interior and ambience is superb! The food and customer service is exceptional - and as we have always experienced. We are so pleased we now have a new venue when we feel in the mood to get dressed up and go somewhere upmarket. We highly recommend this venue!!

This is written mid August and the restaurant is moving to new premises almost next door within 2 to 3 weeks. Even here in the old place the whole dinner was outstanding, including the service. I couldn't fault anything if I tried. And they serve proper Turkish coffee! (Forgot to ask them about the coffee beans they use. Just divine.)<br><br>Parking: Lunchtime - pay! For dinner time use single yellow lines on the main road or in side streets.

A wonderful Turkish restaurant in the midst of Stanmore and Edgeware. Yummy food, lots of free salad breads and dips, smiling service and the meat platter to die for. The wings, ribs, seekh kabab etc all fantastic. A restaurant not very expensive. A restaurant I would visit again and again. There to celebrate the 90th birthday of a family member and they made it memorable.
