Booked a table for 23rd December 2023... Excellent service.food was amazing.staff are very polite and do an incredible job. Would recommend this place to anybody in the area. We would definitely go again.

Hadn’t been in the BB for many years, so was intrigued to try it out based on some favourable reports from friends. Good bits first….staff were polite and quick off the mark. Menu a bit “traditional” pub fayre, but came in quickly and was pretty good (not that warm mind). Prices were okay for this part of the world. As it’s a Youngs pub it has a good range of beers, although as a Guinness drinker, it was a shame they had run out. And it’s quite cosy and welcoming....read full review

Really lovely ambiance in this pub Buzzing and warm and cosy feel to it Food was very good and we enjoyed all our dishes BUT on arrival we were totally ignored by bar staff ( no acknowledgement that we had arrived or were waiting ) and then we felt we were annoying because we’d booked a table at a busy time in the bar Restaurant was understaffed and the waitress was run ragged Our starters came out before our drinks !!!
