Stepping Stones

Me and my husband had been married a few days and stopped off her on route to the lakes. Not only were the staff extremely friendly and welcoming but everything we ordered was outstanding! This review would have been left anyway but when we had requested the bill we were told “frank behind the bar has picked up your bill as a wedding present” absolutely warmed our hearts as it was such a kind gesture. We’ll be talking about this place none stop!

This fantastic place is a little out of the way, but what a really friendly atmosphere. Really good home cooked food piping hot and not rushed between servings. All the staff go out of their way to great and help you. The bar area is dog friendly and the restaurant venue is beautiful.

This pub is situated on a touring/camping site that we stayed at during Easter. 2 adults 2 children. The food was amazing, could not fault it. Children's meals went down a treat and great portions. Staff were wonderful also! It's one of them feel good english home cooked meal places. Well done everyone ?
