The Red Lion Llangorse

Went to the Red Lion after a recommendation but was still expecting pub grub, be it of a slightly higher standard than other restaurants in the local area. What we got was such a pleasant and delicious surprise. One of the best meals I’ve eaten in Wales, at a reasonable price which belied the quality of the meal. Food and service both amazing, very friendly staff and excellent chefs, gluten free food was tasty, perfectly cooked and had moisture!<br>Ive had the lamb ragu and polenta (couldn’t eat it fast enough) and the bannau burger (served pink) both were delicious.<br>Beautifully presented food<br>Tea and house red where spot on!<br><br>Would highly recommend<br><br>Parking: Parking round the side, and on street parking opposite

Lovely meal with friendly & efficient staff.<br>Brilliant choice for veggie/ vegan/ dietary requirements. Staff took the time to check our needs with kitchen.<br>Good choice of non alcoholic beers, ciders etc.<br>Thank you!<br><br>Vegetarian options: Had the tofu battered 'fish', really impressed. Presented well with decent portions.
