Wedgwood The Restaurant

Terrific choice to experience fantastic regional produce, restrained and thoughtful cooking, warm service, and very reasonable pricing; especially on beverages. Monkfish with couscous, corn, broccolini. Potato gnocchi and chicken breast also excellent.

I originally chose Wedgwood as so many other restaurants on my "list" were closed on a Monday, but I'm so glad I did.<br><br>The food was great, very reasonable for a lunch menu, and our hostess was very patient as I caught up with a family member I hadn't seen in 20 years!<br><br>I had the sea trout tartare to start, and, although not a large portion, it was about right for the balance of the dish. We found this restaurant just across our rental apartment. Incredible taste of the food, excellent service and great evening in this small but great restaurant. They had a Michelin star in 2019, and they kept the level. The deserts were absolutely splendid. Make sure you reserve a table, and there is a wonderful tasting menu paired with wines we watched on the table next to us. And while there, we saw they have lunch menu from 12 to 13:45. So, it is on our list again. ;)
