The Old Queens Head

I met friends here whilst on I was on holiday from my home in Canada. As an expat I decided to have the light bite Ploughmans cheese and ham open sandwich. Heck was I disappointed! One very small oval piece of sourdough bread with bits of grated cheese and apple on bits of ham. We were a party of 10 and everyone was shocked when they saw my order! Such an amazing pub. Came here with a large group for a Sunday roast and the staff were so kind and accommodating, plus the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this pub. Thank you for having us :)<br><br>Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian and vegan options. The mushroom wellington roast was incredible.

We held the Wake for my mum’s funeral at the Old Queens Head, everyone was incredibly helpful, we were unsure how many people would attend but they very easily coped with more than we expected. Everything was ready on time, all the staff were lovely, thanks for all your help
