The Stag at Walton

Just had a light lunch at the Stag with our dog. Very welcoming and dog friendly. Staff were lovely as was the food - particularly the spicy carrot soup. Will certainly be dropping in again.<br><br>Thanks to The Stag team.

Great pub. Food is fantastic, staff are lovely and a fab atmosphere ! We’ve been calling in midweek for a while but finally called in on a Saturday and not disappointed. Well done Andy (Trigger ?). Keep up the good work. Scoop and Mrs Scoop.

Had a roast dinner beef & my husband had 3 meat platter was very disappointed with the beef it was so tough found it difficult to cut through & roast potatoes which I normally love was hard to cut through & overcooked .We have been coming many years & loved it but was extremely Disappointed today .THE THREE MEAT PLATTER WAS LESS MEAT THAN MINE ON THE POSITIVE SIDE I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE NEW MANAGER TO LOOK INTO WHAT WAS WRONG .THAT REALLY IMPRESSED ME...read full review
