The Black Horse

Stumbled upon this pub after a visit to the nearby safari park on a whim and ended up having the best pub food we'd had in months.<br><br>Greeted with a warm welcome on arrival, the staff were ace throughout. I had Miso Seabass & Aubergine from the specials whilst my partner had Pea and Shallot Ravioli. Had steak and chips here a number of times previously. Always fabulous and top quality. Went for birthday and steak was flavourless and chips were seemingly oven chips that had been fried. Disappointed!

I have visited the black horse many times and Tuesday evening this week did not disappoint. Fantastic food and excellent service. Also excellent wine. ( Sancerre). See you again soon and thank you for a great evening.
