What a lovely little pub with some good ales and dinner was excellent. The staff are very friendly and efficient.<br>Toilets and decor let it down a little but this little place on the outskirts of town deserves its great reputation for its food and beer and I hope more people give it a visit

Popped in here for a roast dinner. The staff were so lovely really friendly and helpful and kind. We had roast dinner I had the nut roast my hubby had the beef. Yorkshire puddings were fab and it was nice and hot with fresh veg. The nut roast wasn’t the best a bit disappointing it didn’t taste homemade. This is a small pub that serves traditional pub grub that is very nice and reasonably priced. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. It is advisable to book if there are more than two of you.<br><br>Parking: The car park is small but there are unrestricted spaces on the road.
