The Old Barge

One of our favourite pubs in town for a quiet drink or some food, with friendly staff. It's tucked away from the busy roads but always people walking past. The food is good, the drinks are a bit more pricey that in other places, but they have a nice selection. Dog friendly and has a nice big fireplace that you can sometimes get a seat at and play some of the board games they have on their games shelf. Very cosy.

Used to be one of the best pubs in Hertford but the quality of food became really poor lately. The Barge burger was totally dry and tasteless the last time I have visited the place<br><br>P. S. Good choice of cask ales though
