The Market Stores, Reigate

A grand old pub over numerous levels ending in a lovely beer garden at the very top of the pub! Two bars - one each on both the ground and 1st floor - with the ground floor bar being the only one open when we were there. There is so much space in this pub which is wonderful to 1 - allow people to enjoy it's grandeur and 2 - to let people move about freely without running into a table two and a half feet away. Should the pub be called 'The Light at the End of the Tunnel'? For a first time visit to Reigate, someone walking from the station and through the tunnel might think so! A welcome sight.I didn't have any food, but did look at the menu and thought it was a good selection.London Pride was cooler than I would like, but nice nonetheless.

Stopped in for a quick bite during a work visit and really enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere.The bartender (Dylan) was super friendly, and served up some nice recommendations on tap for me.The onion rings were some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. No joke.5/5
