Blissful Bites

I first became a customer a couple of years ago when I bought a Father’s Day tasting box, the cookies and brownies were cooked to perfection, since then the quality hasn’t changed, they’re still fantastic and they keep me coming back for more.

Rowing Machine

Went in for some drinks with my friends. Couldn’t decide on what to have. Lovely lady behind the bar (who I think was called Alice) was super smiley and helped me recommending a drink.
Nice atmosphere and nice place

The Edge Eatery Ltd.

Good food reasonably priced, friendly service and a vibrant atmosphere.
Only slight down side was long waits for coffee, I think we were in a queue with all the people ordering take outs.

The Hollybush

Popped in at 5.30 p.m. yesterday to have a drink with some clients. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended and it's a shame we didn't have time to try the food. Maybe next time!

Ye Olde Cross Keys

The fish and chips was good, crispy batter which was nicely cooked, able to change from green peas to beans instead. The service was very good with nice friendly staff. There are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Would go again.

Parking: Has it's own customer parking area along the River Thames.

George & Dragon

We have enjoyed several beautiful Sunday roast here now. The food is delicious, the staff are really friendly and if you need gluten free they are great with allergies. We highly recommend this family friendly pub. Keep up the great work team!

The Plough

Our favourite pub in Witney by far. Lovely ambience, mellow and laid back but with a nice buzz. Food is fantastic. Fish and chips deal on Fridays is an absolutely bargain. We did a Christmas party with 30 of us there for my dad a couple of years ago, they couldn’t have helped enough. Staff are all great too. Love it!

Curry Paradise

What lovely staff and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately you can buy alcohol there so you bring your own(cheaper, I suppose). I would prefer to be able to order my drinks, not carry them to the restaurant. Good value for money buffet, though. Thanks ?

Old Swan

Beautiful pub associated with the nearby hotel. Lovely garden across the road from the stream. Very dog-friendly! Highly recommend for drinks.

The Lamb Inn

there aren't enough words to describe how wonderful this place is. my husband won't stop going g on about it either. came for my birthday. I suffer with neurological issues so my speech can be bad. but ollie was a dream. so kind. genuine. and understanding. even gave me a little candle in my pudding after finding out it was my birthday. all the staff were genuine. they wanted you there. treated you like you belonged. and. Just. wow. never ever felt this way before from an restaurant. can not thank you enough xx Ashley and Wayne. xxx

The Eagle Tavern

Had lunch in this lovely, proper pub on a quiet Friday early afternoon. We both had the doorstop sandwiches which come with proper handcut, homemade chips. Both the haddock fish finger sandwich and the pastrami sandwich were fantastic, as was the side order of homemade onion rings. Couple the fantastic food with friendly staff, great service and brilliant tunes on the juke box - can't go wrong!

The Royal Oak

Lovely place, I dropped in for a bite to eat and do some work while my car had its mot up the road. Really nice place, great food, nice folks and much better than Costa for a bit of remote working.

Apollo food Van (Good Food)

I've awarded this 5 stars because it probably deserves it, but the place keeps being shown in my list and I can't work out how to delete it.
It simply wasn't there!
I stopped at this lay by, yes. I was too early for the nearby caravan site where I had booked and this was handy for a short park up.
There were two chairs and a table at one end, so, obviously, when it's there, it is used, but not on the day I parked.
Parts of the road surface crumbling away but nothing exceptional for this quite large stop over.
