The Half Moon
B480, Cuxham, WatlingtonWe had lunch there last Sunday, and the 6 of us loved our food. We all had pizzas and they really were delicious. The gentleman looking after us was great: Smiling, good sense of humour and very efficient - whatever we wanted was not a problem. The food arrived promptly which is always a bonus. Would love to go back there any time and have no hesitation at recommending this place.

The Granary Cafe
18 High St, WatlingtonStopped in after hearing this is the place to have coffee. No treats for us today, but the treats look amazeballs. Uber doggy friendly and a really good vibe. Will definitely add this to our go-to venues, with free parking nearby, atleast that's how we interpreted the sign ?

The Chequers
58 Love Ln, WatlingtonWe got a table very quick, Early Wednesday evening.
Our order was taken quickly and the food came to our table really quick. The food was really nice. Freshly cooked and delicious.
One thing to note, my husband paid and tipped before I checked the bill, I always do, and they had already added a service tip. So we did tip twice.

The Lord Nelson Pub
Brightwell Baldwin, WatlingtonWe went for brunch on a Thursday morning and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place for a great breakfast. We had the Full Nelson (Full English), some avocado on toast with poached eggs and then shared the french toast with Nutella for a brunch desert. This was a real highlight! The staff were lovely too. Not to be missed, we will be going back!

The Red Lion
Britwell Salome, WatlingtonJust had a lovely meal at the Red Lion. Recently reopened with new management. Busy when we arrived. Not an extensive menu but everything that came out of the kitchen looked lovely. My husband had Pil Pil prawns to start, lamb shank for his main. I gave starters a miss as I'm more of a dessert person and had fish and chips and chocolate brownie. All the food was plentiful and delicious. The bill for two courses each, plus two drinks each including a tip was £85.00. I would definitely go back.

The Fox & Hounds
The Fox & Hounds, Christmas Common, WatlingtonWhat a great country pub we’ll definitely be back again!
Amazing food from such a small kitchen! We had our monthly Triumph club meal out there and they did an amazing job serviving all 26 of us. My wife and I had the crab cakes which were divine, and others their pie-of-the-day which was very well regarded.
