Peppard Common, Rotherfield Peppard, Henley-on-ThamesOutstanding Sunday roast. Melt-in-your-mouth lamb roast for 2 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Loved that there was loads of lamb but also heaps of yummy veg, and the gravy was divine. And then there was the "fried custard" for dessert -- oh my! And the staff - 10/10. Our two dogs were welcomed.

Ipsden, WallingfordExcellent Sunday Roast. The gravy and roasted potatoes are perfect, and the portion is very generous. There's a lot of variety on the plate, all tasty. Everything including Yorkshire Pudding seems geniuely home made.
Best sticky toffee pudding I've had in ages - I would give an extra star for that if possible.

2 Oxford Rd, Benson, WallingfordHaving been stranded in Benson Marina due to water conditions on the River Thames we took refuge in this pub for a couple of hours. It's a really nice place. We were made to feel very welcome by the bar staff and customers. It was a relaxed sort of place. We didn't have food but there was a good selection of beers and it looked very much like it did cater for foodies with plenty of dining areas. I am very sure we will be calling in again as it's just a 5 minute walk from the Marina past st Helens church and turn left. The road leading to it was quite dark so make yourself be seen if on foot.

Vegetarian options: The nut cutlets are so tasty, also do a great vegetable and cheese tart. If we get stuck for choice we always go for the creamy garlic mushrooms as a main course.

The menu is original and they food is amazing! Myself and my mother had the princess of wales it was actually a vegetarian dish (neither of us are vegetarian) and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Packed full of flavour and a healthy portion! My dad had a ham cheese and mushroom omelet and it was bursting with the ingredients most certainly the best omelet I’ve see served out! Supper friendly staff and the decor is gorgeous! Even played a game of solitaire on the table while we waited. Quirky and fascinating decor you definitely won’t be bored in this little cafe. The menu does say everything is made fresh and from scratch so you wait a little longer than normal but really not that noticeable and the food is definitely worth the wait! We don’t live local but we most certainly will be coming back!

The food is amazing. So much food at a reasonable price.
We live about a mile out of Oxford city. The X40 bus goes past our estate, and it's roughly a 40 minute journey on the bus.

6A St Martin's St, WallingfordWalked by this place, and had a great explore. A lovely old shop with a lot of charm. They were really welcoming, and showed me all their tea options. They have Lychee Tea which is often hard to come by so bought a big bag! will come back again if in the area :)
