The food was excellent, and the service we received from Gonz was first class, he was very attentive and friendly. We've been to other Miller and Carter restaurants, and we have found them consistently good. Will definitely eat there again.

5 Oxford Rd, KidlingtonI booked a table for lunch with my 3 cousins. We received a warm welcome from Rebecca and Tamsin. After deciding what we wanted to eat and drink both Tamsin and Rebecca took our order, supplied us with water and glasses and were very friendly. The food arrived from the lunchtime menu and although the mains was on the small size the good size delicious pudding and at less than £10 for the 2 courses, there were definitely no complaints. With friendly and chatty staff, good tasty food at a reasonable price, we will be returning.
Vegetarian options: Three vegetarian options were offered on the lunch time menu.

The Oxford Arms
1 Troy Ln, Kirtlington, KidlingtonWe came here for a roast dinner and took the dog. It's a really cosy pub with a stove fire place and very friendly resident dog. The food was very tasty and came quickly. I had the vegetarian roast. Staff were attentive and helpful. Can't fault the place. This is our little meeting spot as a family so we'll definitely be popping in again.

4 The Moors, KidlingtonWe've just had a meal for two here. Leek gratin and red dragon pate for starters - both absolutely delicious, proper liver pate, and succulent, subtly flavoured leeks. For main corned beef pie - proper pie, with pastry all round, not a stew with a lid as is so common - real childhood comfort food with crispy chips and veg done just right! And a swansea breakfast - never tried cockles (except pickled) or laverbread, but really impressed with both, seriously tasty. And very reasonable prices for this close to Oxford! Thoroughly recommended!

2 Woodstock Rd, Yarnton, KidlingtonServed again today by the lovely Robyn at The Turnpike. Service with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Roast dinner was epic, the chef nailed it. I had the belly pork, it was succulent and tasty, came with lots of delicious veg. My mum had the roast turkey, again beautifully prepared. I finished off with the Banoffee choux bun and my mum had a mini crumble with coffee. Yum!

The most glorious food - we all had something different. I highly rate the chicken jalfrezi and the akbari chicken. The pilau rice was exceptionally fragrant. The G&Ts were very good too! We enjoyed the desserts and complimentary chocolates. The loos were also very clean which is important. And we felt the price was very reasonable for the food ordered. In Arnie’s lingo “we’ll be back” and thanks to Aziz for taking such good care of us.

They serve a wide variety of savoury and sweet foods, despite the small size of the place, and make great coffee. And the bill is never a shock, which is rare these days!
