The service was great and super friendly, the food was great, and the music and vibe was fantastic. I will definitely be back and bringing people to experience this resteraunt!

126 Broadway, DidcotVisited 17/01/25 for my Fathers Birthday celebrations. There were 5 adults and one child in our party. My partner knew two staff members already, and we all were made to feel very welcome. I tried the Wagu beef for the very first time. And it was amazing!! I’ve never had any beef/steak that tasted so delicious before!! No complaints at all from anyone in our group, all our food and drinks were spot on. My Dad had the Wagu beef, and so did my partner who used to be a chef, again no complaints! Dad’s dessert was brought out with a lit birthday candle and we all sang to him, which was a lovely touch. Mum had to take some food home, as did not want to leave it as was so good!!! Thank you for the extra attention, was a lovely visit. And we are now planning the next visit-any excuse!! Hope to see you again soon.

Tables are not too closely spaced although I recommend sitting by the window. Probably best place for pizza in didcot. Not cheap...bill really adds up with some drinks and ice-cream, but still worth it as going here feels like a treat.

The Crown, High St, South Moreton, DidcotWent there to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The Crown were very good in that we were slightly late due to heavy traffic. The choice of food was very good and there was a quality menu available for children. Following placing our orders there was a little bit of time to wait as everything was freshly cooked to order. The plates were filled with appetising food. A thoroughly enjoyable meal which everyone including the youngsters are. Plates were cleared. The gammon was fabulous as was the pie dish - there was a choice of three pie dishes. The halloumi burger was also thoroughly enjoyed by the Birthday girl. Service was friendly, attentive and polite. The explanation of the types of house menu pie options was very thorough.
Kid-friendliness: The children's choices were varied and good platefuls. Both youngsters cleared their plates.

Finally, a good chinese takeaway in didcot! Great pricing as well. Im east asian and this is high recommended. I tried china garden and chois- unfortunately not good and too far from authentic asian food. Fort works hits the spot!

Royal Oak, 118 Park Rd, DidcotVisited on a trip to see family, was extremely shocked at how welcoming the staff were, it's not very often these days you can go into a pub and feel so welcome.I had the Katsu chicken curry and it was divine. Highly recommend and would suggest all to visit.

Gurkha Sunkoshi Restaurant, 226A Broadway, DidcotWe've just had our first takeaway from Gurkah Sunkoshi (have been into the restaurant once or twice in the last 10 years) and it did not disappoint.
Vegetable balti was full of flavor and very enjoyable, the chicken korma was also excellent although slightly more spicy than I am used to but was still delicious.
I am told the garlic naan was the best one we've had, although I didn't have any myself.
Delivery was estimated at 40-50 minutes. It was just over an hour.
All in all, everything was great. Definitely recommend.

Fried chicken could be a little more crispy but was super happy nonetheless. Will definitely order again and curious to try other menu. Portions are a good size for the money and very tasty. I would have liked a little bit more chicken for my regular size shish but, it was still worth the £7.50 paid.
Would definitely recommend and will use again.
Parking: It's on main road in front of shop, or in side street with a 2 min walk to shop.

Wantage Rd, DidcotHaving just moved to Didcot, I have found a home away from home. Lovely staff and friendly locals. The prices are competitive against other venues. I got to watch the semifinals of an Aunt Sally league which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. There are two well kept and lit dart boards with a counter and a pool table. Friday and Saturday nights are busy with rotating karaoke and live music. No food is served here. The beer is good and a decent cider collection is welcome. There is a large beer garden and a large outdoor seating area on the street front. Recommend a visit.

6A Cockcroft Rd, DidcotI live around the corner and pop into the cafe occasionally, usually when I have friends or family staying. The panini's and baguettes are tasty, the chips chunky and well cooked and the portion sizes good for the price. The staff are super friendly too. I would go more often if there was more variety in the sandwich and breakfast options and thats the only issue I have with the cafe! What they do, they do very well. Milkshakes are also great and the cakes too. I would personally love to see more options at the cafe. Things like eggs benedict or eggs salmon royale would be great for more brunchy type food (pancakes, french toast) and a wider selection of sandwiches, paninis and baguettes also would be good (Chicken and pesto, Brie and Cranberry, Mushroom and goats cheese/stilton, cheesey pepperoni flavour as some examples, hot sliced beef and onion toasted sandwich - maybe thats a northern thing tho). Even if the menu changes seasonally that would be nice too rather than it just being the same few things as I struggle to find things I like on the menu and wouldnt want to have the same thing each time. I live 5 mins walk away and would visit more if they had more of a selection for sure.

32 Wantage Rd, DidcotWe had ordered around 4 different dishes (main and side) and except for the shish lamb, they were alright - one of them was excellent in fact (flat oval shaped kebabs made of mince lamb I think). Shish lamb was too firm for me - perhaps more people like firm shish lamb which is why they had BBQ'ed it that way - I prefer very soft meat. The space inside is not huge (it's on the tighter side), as one would expect but we managed ok. I would strongly recommend booking in advance since there's limited space. I asked about parking before arriving and was told "yes" but recall the words "across the road" alongside so I found a suitable place at around 5 minute walking distance.
