The Royal Oak
26 Witney St, BurfordSuch a great dinner experience! The service was friendly and efficient and the staff truly cared about making our experience an excellent one. We had the fish & chips, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, and the minted pea soup. All were fresh, flavorful, and copious. The vegetables were so fresh and perfectly steamed and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly and enveloped in a delicious tangy cheese sauce. So good! Do yourself a favor and make sure to go!

Windmill
Church St, WarwickshireAbsolutely loved The Windmill. After traveling for almost 18 hours, we just wanted a nice place to grab some fish and chips or a burger and The Windmill was perfect. Amazing atmosphere in a building from around 1600, the staff was patient and kind and the food was top shelf.

The Angel at Burford
14 Witney St, BurfordGreat B&B. We stayed here for two nights for a wedding nearby. We were late to check in but Scott had waited around and was really nice on arrival. The room/en-suite is spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. The breakfast next morning is high quality with the lovely Sophie on hand the next morning.

Hugo lovage patisserie
54 High St, BurfordThe most exquisite patisserie! We were only in the area for a long weekend but after our first taste of Hugo's egg custard with the creme brulée top we found ourselves unable to resist going back for more!

The Priory Tea rooms Cafe with Rooms
35 High St, BurfordA nice setting for "Cream Tea" during a visit to the Cotswolds. Tearooms were clean and bright. With 1 large scone either plain or with raisins + ample clotted cream and jam per serve with a pot of tea allowing 2 cups per person. There are also tables in a quiet courtyard or on the street. Very nice experience overall.

The Swan Inn
The Swan Inn, A40, Swinbrook, BurfordGreat location, nice building with friendly helpful staff, cozy room with all the usual stuff. Comfy bed, nice shower, plenty to do in a 10 minutes drive, my one and only disappointment was the breakfast, the quality was amazing but the "full" English didn't live up to its name. I wasn't full. 1 amazing sausage, 1 bacon, 1 egg, 1 mushroom, half a slice of black pudding, half a slice of tomato, and a tiny bowl of beans.I would definitely return and can highly recommend. (Just fill up on toast or cereal first)

The Oak Tree Restaurant
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, Burford, Bradwell Grove, BurfordThe reviews and rating on here don’t do this justice in my opinion. It’s a canteen style cafe set up to handle large volumes of people and has freshly made meals like lasagne, macaroni cheese, chicken goujons, sausages, bartered fish, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, salad, etc. Yes you’ll queue if you go for lunch between 12-12:30, but for what it is it’s good food and well set up.

The Lamb Inn
Sheep St, BurfordFantastic place to stay in the heart of the Cotswolds. Recently stayed there with my daughter and our dog. It's wonderful to find a hotel that treats dogs to the same standard as their two legged guests. Dog bed and bowls were provided in our room, and he even got a sausage at breakfast time. Food is amazing and the bar is family and dog friendly too. We will be returning soon!

The Cotswold Arms
46 High St, BurfordThis was a nice pub to visit in Burford. Recommended by the staff at the post office! I had a steak sandwich on a baguette, it was a full steak that was sliced thick, not some knock off steak. They told me the building was from like the 1500's and made out of wood from a ship. It had hiding places that people used to use to hide from the police a long time ago and the staff was able to point them out. If you're hungry and want the atmosphere of an old building this is the place!
