Really don't understand the concept of pound bakery anymore as virtually nothing is a pound! Sandwiches are super small overpriced and tasteless! The toothless girl behind the counter was super friendly tho serving my cheesy wedges and burnt cheese on toast so can't complain about this branch ?
I used to like Poundbakery, but obviously I don't think anything is actually a pound anymore. Sadly, it's now nearly as expensive as Gregg's... Which means your probably actually better off going to Gregg's in the first place.
Went in for some sausage rolls (which were good). Also bought a seasonal treat which was a Christmas tree shortbread but seemed more chewy like a cake rather than crunchy like a shortbread. Tasted nice but was not the right consistency.
