Period pub. Really historic. Friendly & professional staff. Yummy food. Decent sized car park. If you're 6' tall, duck as you walk through doorways! It was built 100s of years ago & people were shorter back then. Outside area for smokers. Arrive/depart by car or taxi would be my advice.

Popped in for a spot of lunch, myself, hubby & son ordered the sandwiches from the menu, whilst my daughter ordered lasagna, grandkids ordered pizza. When the food came, we were very disappointed with the bread as it was regular sliced whereas another table had what looked like doorstop bread! The kids meals were clearly microwave Chicago town pizzas, and the lasagna that my daughter ordered didn’t arrive until we were all finished & ready to leave. They ended up taking...read full review
