The food was tasty, with generous portions and incredible value for money. At less than £10 I had a 2 course meal (the special) and soft drink. The chicken and vegetable soup felt hearty and wholesome, with delicious fresh herbs added, followed by a main of salmon, vegetables and rice. Dany was extremely welcoming and hospitable, as the owner and chef. The decor was outdated but the traditional features made it cosy and authentic. This was my first proper experience of Romanian food and I was very impressed. The selection of vegetable based dishes I had were all fresh and delicious, and the quality and preparation of the meats was exceptional. Far superior to any English steakhouse I've ever been to. Will definitely go back.
