The Holland, Kensington

We sat outside.<br>Didn't eat so can't give an opinion, but it seemed very popular inside.<br>Our only real problem was the most uncomfortable seating, really horrid and very high uncomfortable stools (,also backless)<br>We couldn't stand it any longer and went somewhere else with seating.<br>Sorry guys....please some decent seating as you used to have over the last years!!!

Exactly what I was looking for lunch, a cosy, hidden place with a fabulous food selection. The 3 course lunch menu is terrific value - the soup has few simple ingredients but all well thought - the gnocchi were delightful, little charred and creamy, I would have had another portion surely! Staff attentive and non intrusive, we’ll definitely be back .

We hired the whole venue recently for a 'Wedding Rehearsal Dinner', accommodating 34 upstairs for dinner and then 90-100 downstairs for drinking afterwards (open bar). Most of the guests were from the US and they loved it. The Holland was a perfect venue, combining great quality gastro-pub food, with traditional London pub ambience downstairs.
