Consistency is not strong<br>Since taking over earlier this year 2024, Consistency of cooking is not good.<br>They have change the oil so the chips do not taste as nice as they used to be with the previous owners. Chips often over cooked and dry. The batter is dreadful. Not consistent. Either over cooked or looks very pale. Batter is too thin.<br>Now they’ve gone crazy with the salt on chips for the past two weeks ?

Even though I live in Chelmsford, I have recently started to spend more time in St Margarets and have tried a few dishes, particularly the fish and the food has always been spot on.<br>The several fish and chips shops in Chelmsford don't even come close to the food Seaways do.<br>Best wishes<br>Adrian

I used to work at the ware branch with Rob Carl Em and the guy who came in on a motorcycle (I feel so bad for not remembering his name lol) but they were the calmest bosses I've ever worked for and the food was always out on time hot and very tasty. Bit sad that the ware branch has shut down though :( but if you want good food with a loving atmosphere definitely grab something here.There not expecting this msg so hi guys lol
