The gate fryer

Finally a chippy that opens later than most other places! This one has become our local. Staff are always nice, food is good and the batter it top notch. Price is on point too, what you'd expect, but they do give good portion sizes too.<br><br>All in, a great chippy. Looking forward to. The next time we get a hankering for chippy tea and curry.

Thought we'd try a new chippy out but wasn't very happy from the get go. Delivery was taking far too long, Infact I was able to wire up a new plug socket down in my workshop, return all the items and objects back to where they came from and sit down and play 25 minutes on a game whilst we wait.<br><br>We mainly order take aways in the weekend as we both work 7 days a week so due to our tight schedule we do hope for no more than 45 minutes to an hour for delivery.<br><br>The...read full review
