Fino Tapas Preston

I've visited Fino Tapas restaurant a number of times in various locations, but this was my first visit to Friargate. What a lovely location, I was expecting to enjoy the food, as it's always been good quality, but the restaurant itself is beautiful and has a fantastic atmosphere. Lovely food and drinks, we really enjoyed the croquettes and the calamari. it got quite cramped when a large Christmas party arrived and it did take a while for us to get dessert menus and the bill when we asked for those.

I rarely leave unsatisfactory reviews, particularly for independents, but sadly, this was an underwhelming and disappointing experience. The food was enjoyable (particularly the cheese board, goat cheese salad and croquettes), but we all felt a tad overpriced for the portion sizes/tapas (which I am sure are a lot smaller than those at the previous restaurant location).
