Giggling Squid - Oxford

The Thai green chicken was okay but lacked true authenticity, with a grainy texture and a sweet taste. Additionally, there was only a few pieces of chicken which was disappointing considering the price.<br><br>Regarding the service, the lady who escorted us to our table was clearly irritated by having to do so and we were not sure who our waiter was because different people kept coming to the table! So overall, the service could have been much better.

Didn't think I'd like it much as it's a chain. Boy, was I wrong. Food was really good, with a wide variety of sharing platters, great King Prawn pad Thai, wonderful beef cheek, and pork. Three of us eating at about £110 with drinks. Well worth it. Service prompt, atmosphere lively.

We had a table of 8 booked at 5pm. We were called and emailed about the booking 3x ensuring we were coming, we were told to come early as they get very busy and we were pressured and rushed from the moment we got there. We were hurried along at every opportunity to the point where it started to feel very uncomfortable.
