The Unthank Arms

Went for a roast. It was nice overall but not the best. Roasties weren’t crispy (also hidden under the meat and gravy which didn’t help ‘crisp’ retention). Opted for the all the meats option as couldn’t choose, this is quite expensive at £25 and you get way too much meat, would be better to reduce the cost and reduce portion size. Did get a pocket of raw flour in my Yorkshire which I told the waitress about but they didn’t seem too bothered. Otherwise no complaints....read full review

Staff were very friendly and the drinks and olives were nice and the meat was ok. However the nutroast was Bland, the roast potatoes were hard and the Yorkshire puddings were tough and very hard to eat.

We visited for the first time for a Sunday roast, opting for the nut roast. It sounded great on the menu but unfortunately didn't hit the spot for both of us. The veg was also a bit mixed. Service was sharp and the table booking system worked perfectly. Many thanks team.
