Conti Fish Bar

Been a couple of times now. The chips are lovely, but twice had fish and it's either been overcooked or cooked a few times as the batter was teeth braking hard. Portion size was great and the cod bites my partner had were perfect. It's always busy which is a good sign but I phoned my order through, was told it would be 20 minutes and was over half hour. Last time my partner had Sausage in batter and that was also overcooked.

I have yet to have a bad experience, food absolutely spot on! As for the customer service from the staff they are fabulous. It’s difficult for them when they are rushed off their feet and you get someone banging on about salt and vinegar.!<br>Heather , your review ,, well ,,,recollection's may very??!! Only chip shop I've ever been in where they never ask you if you want salt and vinegar and then look at you like you've got 3 heads when you realise they've wrapped it all and not put any on and ask for soke!
