Sake

This is the second time I've ordered from Sake, the first time I wasn't overly impressed with the Ramen as it was a tad bland. But today I was impressed, the menu has expanded a little since I last ordered (not too much that it's trying to please everyone) I ordered the veggie gyosa ramen and it was much more flavoursome, my husband had the chicken ramen and enjoyed it.<br>We also had a few sides and again, they were good.<br><br>It's great...read full review

Ordered quite a few things and most were divine! Chicken udon noodle stir fry, teriyaki chicken bites, chicken katsu reverse maki, chicken gyoza all absolutely gorgeous!!! Chicken ramen looked beautiful but the broth sadly was not as good/flavourful as I'd hoped. The takoyaki (octopus battered fried balls) - the octopus was nice but the batter was very squishy/liquid inside (like it hadn't cooked through). But all in all a lovely meal! I've had sushi from a few places in Manchester and most have been priced well in excess of Sake.I've eaten from Sake a few times now and each time the sushi has been fresh and flavoursome.The rice is cooked well. Not under or over sticky and prepared just right.I had the 12 piece variety sushi and I had tuna, prawns, mackerel octopus , salmon and a fish I didn't know lol.All very fresh.
