Place looks good but old tables with greasy tops not so good also the added 10% on the bill not good , it should be customers choice to tip.<br>Food bang on average the beetroot and ricotta starter strange tasty but it’s a beetroot sliced up with a cream sauce for £9 !<br>Barnsley chop tasty but rest chips etc bland . I had the most delicious lamb chops and beer of my life. It had a strong aroma and flavor that was incomparable to the sheep eaten in Japan. It was so delicious that I went there two days in a row. Fabulous city centre pub, dedicated to LS Lowry, even having a life size bronze statue of the great man sat at the bar. Photo opportunity ensued. Friendly, helpful and prompt staff, great place.
