We picked up a takeaway as we were staying in a cottage nearby with our dog. We chose the Rosemary Garlic Bread, Pollo Al Funghi, Beef Short Ribs & side orders of Rosemary Potatoes and Seasonal Veg. Everything was absolutely delicious - we ate every morsel and kept saying how amazing it was ?. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! (Couldn’t comment on Atmosphere as we didn’t eat in)
Food was delicious, restaurant is light and airy with a lovely atmosphere. Service was great and we didn't have to wait long despite the place being full. Definitely recommend a visit
So often in Louth and the surrounding area, restaurants don't walk their talk. The lack of a warm welcome / greeting is par for the course. Not so at Montebello. The food in the county can so often be 2 or 3 star. Not so at Montebello. And the service is usually of a similar standard. Not so at Montebello. We will go back.
