Been staying at the fox regularly for over a year now and it’s always a lovely place to be. As someone whose job requires lots of travelling and hotel accommodation, this quaint little pub is ALWAYS my go to place in Hertfordshire!<br><br>The food is excellent, the rooms are always cleaned to a great standard and the service is always with a smile!<br><br>I want to give a particular shout out to Sue who does the breakfast- Sue has been friendly and welcoming...read full review

Ordered a chicken, bacon and avacado salad, tiny pieces of avacado would not have made a slice, bacon equally sparse and chicken was dried up and rock hard. Service was painfully slow despite that as a large group we had pre ordered. Very disappointing
