I randomly stumbled upon this tiny little shack late in the evening and boy was I blown away from what the small restaurant could do. The food was really lovely and I had a great time. I would definitely recommend this for anyone loving Italian.
Lovely, lovely food, everything so tasty, and incredibly cheap. One comment, really need more staff, esp on a sat when went there and was busy (glad I booked a table). Had to wait a while for service, and had to enquire about ordering more than once. But all the starters arrived at the same time, as did the mains, and desserts. Will def go back/ many times.
You would not know that hidden under the staircase at Catford is a slice of Italian authenticity. As soon as you walk through the door, the smell is reminiscent of holidays. The atmosphere is buzzing, the service is welcoming if a tad slow on occasion, but the food is spectacular. The best aubergine parmigiana you can find in London for sure, and some really fresh and delicious seafood pasta dishes. Can’t wait to go back
