Still as good as ever thankfully. This fish & chip shop has been here since before I was born!<br>Tonight's order, 2 large haddock, small chips & 2 mushy peas. I used to frequent this chippy when I lived in Aylestone. I always loved that they did some specials as well as the standard chippy grub - their fried chicken is amazing, and they used to do a Battered Pigs In Blanket!<br><br>I went again recently and whilst it was good, in all honesty the prices and portions let them down. The lady that served us was excellent, very polite and attentive. The chips were generous and tasted good, the mushy peas were good but were a very dark green, the potato fritter was a good size but under cooked, the steak and kidney pie was good.
