Dhaka

It was a Thursday night. I had the chicken Balti, which is the benchmark I judge Indian restaurants by.<br><br>Whilst it wasn't terrible it was not up to the standard i remember the Dhaka for. Nothing wrong with it but nothing outstanding.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years and cannot speak highly enough of them. Was there again last night 04/09/24 with a party of 6 for a family birthday and once again it was an excellent visit. One of our party is a wheelchair user which the restaurant can easily accommodate both in terms of access through the main door and seating at the table. Authentic Tandoori, superb service and great food. A truly fantastic Indian restaurant which happens to be the longest running restaurant in Ipswich; consistently good and never disappoints.Update 2022: still great! Absolutely fantastic!Update 2024.... Still perfect!
