The Brain Jar

Me and my wife were lucky enough to stumble across The Brain Jar last year. We were so blown away by the cocktails we decided to stay in Hull an extra night just so we could enjoy more of their drinks and play their Sunday quiz.<br><br>We’ve both been to a lot of cocktail bars around the world and this place surpasses all of them by FAR. Fantastic all round. The staff were friendly and always on the ball. Student/indy type of atmosphere. The cocktail I had was called 'Passion Fruit Caipirinha' and was one of the best cocktails I have ever had. Food was cooked to perfection. All positive from me.

What a great place! The owners are so lovely - helped me out with a unique pizza-needing situation during the Euros. The inside has a great atmosphere and even allows dogs. Definitely try this place out if you’re in Hull’s old town.
