You all know what it is like you set your heart on a Indian and you pick a restaurant but before you order you look at the reviews which are average to poor ( although some good) but you still go ahead and on this occasion I am so pleased I did. Best Madras takeaway I have had for years lovely garlic naan and lovely fluffy rice and a lovely price.Thankyou Taste of India.
The food I ordered was the best takeout I’ve had in many years. Bloody great, full of flavour. Their Jalfrezi was brilliant.Service was brilliant.I can’t comment on the atmosphere as I didn’t sit in for the meal but it looked clean and comfortable.I highly recommend this place if you are in Holt.
The food was very nice, hot food served on hot plates. The meat was also nice. But for such a lovely village with top quality, cafes and shops and a perfect hotel, to have a grubby and dirty Indian restaurant is very disappointing. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed. We would never eat there again, which is a shame because the food the beer and the service was good.
